Living the lives that we lead it’s hard to fit it all in, but I try my best to keep things simple when it comes to fitness.
My overall philosophy is this –
- Do high intensity interval work with weights, gymnastics, and cardio at least 3 times per week
- Eat what your parents told you to eat when you were a kid – lean meats, lots of veggies, and a little fruit
- Set goals that you have complete control over and measure them frequently
- Don’t worry about your weight, if you do the above, it will fall in line automatically
Do these things consistently, and you will have pretty good fitness, and all the things that go along with that. If you want to specialize to longer distance stuff, strongman, sumo wrestling, ballroom dancing, etc. add that on top of the above, you’ll be better at all of those things because of it.
